Jon Payne
Principal & Owner

Location: Charlotte Office & Baltimore Office

Jon Payne founded Ephricon Web Marketing in 2003 as an all-purpose web services firm. In an effort to find more clients for web design services, Jon stumbled upon Search Engine Optimization. By the middle of 2004 SEO was the clear focus of the firm, and the focus of his attention for way too many hours each day.

As the owner of a small agency, Jon handles a bit of everything - project management, sales and business development, strategy and implementation - he even refills the water cooler.

Jon enjoys both the technical and social aspects of search marketing, and he specializes in forming and implementing sound PPC and SEO strategies for small and mid-sized professional service firms. His educational background includes:

 

Tim Staines
Search Marketing Manager

Location: Baltimore Office

Tim has been with Ephricon since June 2008 and joined our staff after several years as a partner in a small business.  His previous experience includes retail sales and distribution, class instruction, general and sub-contracting, mortgage origination and processing, and producing and implementing all aspects of small business strategy. 

Tim Staines came to us with a broad understanding of how SEO benefits those that execute good plans and is looking forward to becoming an expert in all things related to producing great search results for his clients. He's a strong advocate for his clients and does what's needed to ensure that his clients reap the reward of an impressive SEO campaign.

In his playing days, Tim was a three sport athlete in high-school and played two years of Division III college lacrosse.

 

Ashley Hall
Social Media Specialist

Location: Charlotte Office

Ashley became the newest member of the Ephricon Web Marketing team in June 2009. Her primary role in the company is to utilize social media to further benefit clients in their SEO, internet marketing and online lead generation efforts. With her passion for new forms of media and communications, she is using resources like blogs and Twitter to assist businesses with their internet marketing and PR strategies.

Ashley earned a degree in Communication Studies from Clemson University, where she graduated at the top of her major. She spent two years as a director of the student programming board during her time at Clemson and played an active role in serving the student body.
