Directory Registration Services

Submitting your website to high-quality, relevant directories is an excellent way to gain traffic, improve your website's search engine rankings and improve overall awareness of and exposure for your website.

Our directory registration (aka directory submission) services will assist you with this process.  We know which directories are worth submitting to, which are worth paying a fee to, and which to avoid at all costs!  Here's what we'll do for you:

  • Research and identify directories to submit your site to
  • Physically submit your site to the directories, keeping in mind the unique guidelines and requirements of each directory
  • Pay all directory registration fees on your behalf
  • Track the process in a spreadsheet so you know exactly what we've done

About Directories & "Link Building"

In order to gain maximum exposure for your website, its imperative that other websites within your topic or industry are linking to your website.  The more your site is referenced by other related websites, the more it is ingrained into the web.  This is a good thing.

So how do you get other related sites to link to your site?  Well the first step is to create, manage and update a high-value website with valuable content.  If your site provides unique information about a given topic, many webmasters will choose to link to it as a resource or reference of note.

So what about when you're just starting off?  How will anyone find your site to link to it... if no one else is already linking to it???  We've got two answers for you:

  1. First, you could do an Online Press Release through a site like PRWeb, which will feed this release to related news and content sites.  This is often quite effective in the short-term (1-2 weeks), but often its effect drops off dramatically as that release ages and becomes "old news".

  2. Register your website with related directories.  Google specifically lists this as a step you should take to help them find, index and rank your site.

Submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific expert sites.
