Jim Dodge joined Ephricon in early 2011, after serving as the online media specialist (concentrating in SEO) for a full service advertising agency in Charlotte.  He comes to Ephricon with both hands-on SEO experience as well as account management experience, having managed corporate relationships with clients such as McKesson, Ross, Amgen and Allergan.

Before he started doing SEO professionally, Jim spent nights and weekends studying internet marketing and SEO originally as a hobby.  One day on a whim and without solicitation from his employer at the time, he created an SEO and website audit report outlining his company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats vis-a-vis SEO.  The report reached the CEO’s desk, who was impressed by it and forwarded it to the board of directors.  Following that Jim worked closely with the corporate marketing department at this same multi-national corporation, and helped the company identify and solve SEO-related issues, as well as choose an SEO agency to be the firm’s vendor.

Jim has a passion for the power and leverage that an effective online presence can bring to any organization, regardless of the size of the company or product/service it produces.  As the saying goes, your monitor is the same size whether you are looking at a Fortune 100 company’s site or a small mom-and-pop website.  Jim is driven everyday to learn and apply as much as possible about how to leverage internet technology, new media marketing tactics, and SEO best practices to improve his clients’ results.

When not studying SEO, conversion tactics or analytics Jim enjoys running, water sports, aviation, and playing basketball.  He is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
